By the time I get to making pots in the studio I have entered a collaboration much bigger than myself. It involves untold years of the earth’s being and many other people digging, processing, teaching, facilitating, working, and playing. Even though I love to be “alone in the studio,” I am really entering an ongoing and very old conversation. May I have what is needed to listen well as I also work and play.
